This Christmas piece is written in a mrch form and features a reference to six different carols - Coventry Carol - The First Nowell - Jungle Bells - O Come, All Ye Faithful - Hark the Herald Angels Sing - Angels from the Realms of Glory. The piece concludes with an additional reference to "Yea, Lord, we greet Thee"

Since its introduction to the United States and Great Britain in the 1920s, this Ukrainian folk song has become a popular carol within Western culture. The song is associated with the coming of the New Year which, in pre-Christian Ukraine, was originally celebrated with the coming of spring in April. Retired Bandmaster Gordon Aeelioot of Liverpool Walton has arranged this carol for brass band
