No. 2134 Festival March - Troops Salute (Paul Sharman)

Performed by The Africa Brass / ULID BRASS on a Kibera Concert 2015 September 5 at the S.A. Corps Hall, Lidköping, Sweden

Written to mark the retirement of Major John Mott as Bandmaster of the Household Troops Band, this march includes two of Major Mott's favourite songs; 'Are you washed?' and 'There's only one flag for me'. A number of other references are included, particularly to marches which have become synonymous with the band over the years.

No. 2135 Songs of salvation (Andrew Mackereth)

Written for Haaglanden Band in the Netherlands, this piece contains the old Salvation Army songs, 'Ring the bell, watchman', 'Make no delay', 'Room for Jesus', 'Tell me the old, old story' and 'Praise God, I'm saved'.

No. 2136 Shepherd's Carol (Dean Goffin arr. Kenneth Downie)
Originally published for mixed voices in November 1955, Kenneth Downie's brass setting of this lovely carol in the main remains loyal to the original harmony.

No. 2137 On High! (Martin Cordner)
Taking its inspiration from rock music, such as Queen's 'We will rock you!', this concert 'opener' features the song, 'Lord, I lift your name on high'.

Performed by The Africa Brass / ULID BRASS on a Kibera Concert at The Salvation Army Hisingen Corps Hall, Gothenburg, Sweden on 2016 September 10
