No 2094 song arrangement - In The Love of Jesus by Kenneth Downie
The words of this song were written by Ivy Mawby to a tune by William Hammond. It became very popular as a solo and was subsequently included in the 1986 Song Book of The Salvation Army. The warmth of the words is wonderfully echoed in the mood of the music, the melody line soaring in beautiful, sequential curves.
