No 2072 - Stars of the Morning by Kenneth Downie

Programme note:A lovely setting of the tune, "When he cometh", reminding us of the love God has for his children.

No 2073 - Light and song by David E. Jones

Programme note:Salvationists of a certain age will remember this particular rumbustious, happy song, "Why should life a weary journey seem?", as a Sunday afternoon meeting favourite. The composer of this particular arrangement attempts to re-capture something of the joyous exuberance of the original song, albeit in a very different, freely adapted "big-band" style.

No 2074 - song setting - Burdens are lifted by James Wright

Programme note:The composer John M. Moore penned "Burdens are lifted at Calvary" when he was 27 years old. He was born in Dunbartonshire, Scotland in 1925 and converted to Christ at the age of 16. This beautifyl setting by James Wright reflects the sentiment and challenge of Moore´s work.

No 2075 - march - Sonrise by William Gordon
