No 251   March - Star Lake 70
by Stephen Bulla

This music was written to honor the traditions and legacy that are Star Lake Music Camp. As the composer, writing this gave me an opportunity to reflect on the great experiences and knowledge acquired at Star Lake over multiple decades - first as a staff child, then as a camper, and finally as a member of the music faculty. In fact there have been three generations of my family (so far) that have been influenced by this wonderful institution.

No 252   Our God Reigns!
by Leonard E Smith Jr, arr Dorothy Gates

Our God Reigns! is over thirty years old and can be found in jThe Salvation Army Tune Book. However it is not an old praise and worship song. Its sentiments are as true today as they were when it was written in the 70´s and its melody and harmony are still fresh. This arrangement is both lyrical and majestic and it emphasizes the jamesty of our God.

No 253   Cornet solo - Tenderly Calling
by Norman Bearcroft

Printed in many Hymn Books and included in the "Invitation" section of The Salvation Army Song Book is the song "Jesus is tenderly calling thee home" (words by Fanny Crosby). The message of the song is clear and plain and is at the very heart of the Gospel message.

No 254   Deep Harmony
by Morgan Juel Stavik

This arrangement of Deep Harmony is dedicated to Egil Gundersen, the retired Bandmaster of Askim Band, Norway.

No 255   Forever You Will Be
by Gavin Whitehouse

Forever You Will Be combines two well-known praise songs - "All Heaven Declares" and "Be The Lord God Almighty". The title of the piece comes from a line in the first song which says "Forever you will be the Lamb upon the throne". The music has a majestic feel to it in keeping with the idea of the Lamb of God seated on the throne of Heaven.
